The Curriculum

The principle objective of the course is to provide a solid foundation for student’s future in hospitality industry , keeping in mind the constantly growing needs of the industry. The pedagogy is eclectic and challenging. Students will attend lectures, solve problems interpret data, deliver presentations, use computers, read books and scientific papers, and work in kitchens, training restaurants and housekeeping for practical exposure . The curriculum is designed to provide basic knowledge in the first year , operational techniques in the second year and to improve managerial skills in the final year of the diploma. A Salient feature of the course is its emphasis on promoting entrepreneurship amongst the students.
